You must be at least 16 years old to use StudyPrompt. This is for your protection and to comply with educational best practices.

3. What StudyPrompt Is (and Isn't)

StudyPrompt is:

• A free educational tool (during beta)
• A personal project maintained in spare time
• A prompt enhancer for learning purposes
• An experiment in making AI more accessible for education

StudyPrompt is NOT:

• A commercial service with guarantees
• A way to cheat on homework or exams
• A substitute for actual learning
• Affiliated with any educational institution

4. Acceptable Use

Please use StudyPrompt responsibly:

DO:

• Use it to enhance your learning
• Create better questions for AI assistants
• Follow your school's AI usage policies
• Cite AI assistance when required

DON'T:

• Violate academic integrity policies
• Submit AI-generated work as your own
• Try to break or exploit the service
• Use it for harmful or illegal purposes
• Rely on it for critical or time-sensitive work

5. Academic Integrity

Your academic integrity is YOUR responsibility. StudyPrompt is a tool to help you learn better, not to do your work for you. Always:

• Follow your institution's policies on AI use
• Be honest about using AI assistance
• Use AI as a learning aid, not a shortcut
• Remember that teachers can detect AI-generated content

6. No Warranties (This is Beta Software!)

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES.Specifically:

• It might break at any time
• Generated prompts might be wrong or unhelpful
• The service might be slow or unavailable
• Features might change without notice
• Your browser data could be lost

This is a personal project, not a professional service. Please adjust your expectations accordingly.

7. Limitation of Liability

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Any academic consequences from using this tool
• Lost data or work
• Inaccurate or inappropriate AI responses
• Service interruptions or changes
• Any damages resulting from use of the service

Use StudyPrompt at your own risk. If you need guaranteed service, this isn't it.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details. The short version: your data stays in your browser.

9. Changes and Discontinuation

As a personal project, I may:

• Change or remove features without notice
• Update these terms at any time
• Discontinue the service entirely
• Add usage limits if needed

If you keep using StudyPrompt after changes, you accept the new terms.

10. Feedback and Contributions

Feedback is welcome! But please understand:

• I can't implement every suggestion
• Response times vary (this is a side project)
• Any ideas you share might be implemented
• You won't be compensated for suggestions

11. No Relationship

Using StudyPrompt doesn't create any special relationship between us. You're not a customer, client, or partner - you're a user of a free beta tool.

12. Disputes

If somehow we have a dispute (hopefully not!), we'll try to resolve it reasonably. These terms are governed by applicable law where I reside.
